I have diplomas in counselling and psychotherapy from Re-Vision: the Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis in London (www.re-vision.org.uk), where I studied for five years.
I have worked as a counsellor in the NHS as part of a community mental health team for older adults, working with people mostly over 65, with a variety of problems, including anxiety and depression, bereavement and loss, coming to terms with physical deterioration and changing circumstances, and the particular stresses of caring for a partner with degenerative cognitive functioning leading to dementia.
I have also worked as a counsellor in a voluntary agency for women survivors of abuse.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk) and am bound by its code of ethics.
My private practice is in Milton Keynes.
